Our Story

Our story

I was scared of the gym.

Not the weights. Everything around them. The mirrors, the noise, the feeling that everyone else knew exactly what they were doing and I'd be found out the second I picked something up wrong.

Some days I walked in. Plenty of days I didn't. The weights room looked like a place built for other people, and I wasn't one of them.

What changed it wasn't a gym at all. It was a martial arts class.

Nobody there cared what you looked like. You bowed in at the start, you bowed out at the end, and in between you trained. Properly. When I got something wrong, someone showed me again. When I ran out of breath, someone waited. The person next to me had been nervous on their first night too. So had everyone.

That room taught me something I'd had backwards for years. Strength isn't something you go and get on your own. You build it with people.

Through them I found lifting. Then running. Then sport in general. And slowly, the gym stopped being the scary place.

“I walked in shaking. Now I walk in early.”

Why a samurai

People hear the word warrior and picture someone fighting alone. The samurai never were. They had a code, a teacher, and a family crest on their sleeve. Discipline meant turning up, every day, for the people beside you.

That's the helmet on everything we make, and why our seal is a crest. WARYOR is the family you train with.

Who it's for

Whoever walks in next.

The one standing at the door working up the nerve. The one in the back corner with headphones in, pretending to read the instructions on the machine. The one who's been training for ten years and still remembers their first day. Every body, every gender, every starting point.

We make kit that holds up, wash after wash, because that's how we train. But the clothes are only half of it. The other half is the feeling that you belong in that room. Because you do.

Your pace. Your place.

Everyone starts somewhere. Start with us.

WARYOR · Strength, together.
